Vitamin E for Scars

Vitamin E can help heal scars and injuries to the skin. Many of today's scar treatments contain Vitamin E. It is used because it is able to soften the scar and therefore reduce it appearance.

Acute Derm's Vitamin E

Acute Derm makes a synthetic pharmaceutical grade Vitamin E, d-l Alpha Tocopherol Acetate, that is 100% pure, and the finest grade available. When Vitamin E is mixed with Zinc, as in the Veradex-E formula, the skin has pronounced increase in the number of skin cells that are created. These cells have an increase in zinc, which is a known healing agent.

Vitamin E works synergistically with Topical Vitamin C and Vitamin A to help heal scars and other skin injuries.
